Each duck has a number on the bottom side.  The purchase price of each duck is just $5.  The first duck through the end gate wins. That person receives a winners prize and the rest of the funds go to the comunity.

The Duck Race  is really a private event coordinated by one of our members.  The Astor community does show up for this fun event however.   The event is designed to benefit the "Friends of the Library" and the children of Astor.
