Tommy Volpato
Tommy founded the Blackwater Yacht club with just 6 original members. Some of the original members are still active members. The Blackwater Yacht Club remembers Tommy fondly and is inspired to continue the fun loving nature of Tommy.
The club has expanded to @ 180 members. Our members are some full time residents and many are part time residents from around Florida. Those are referred as the Half-Astors! LOL.
Our club members are retirees enjoying the life along the river as well as working members that love the weekend getaway that Astor provides.
